Our Staff

Dr. Shayla Snipes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She is passionate about providing evidenced-based treatments. She is a graduate of Auburn University, The University of Alabama, and Clark Atlanta University. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor and School Social Worker. She has experience in foster care, child protective services, adult protective services, psychiatric hospital inpatient psychotherapy, school based therapy, and private practice.
Dr. Snipes has successfully assisted families with adoption home studies, adoption counseling, anger management evaluations, and family therapy. She provides trainings to organizations that focuses on mental health, fitness, and empowerment. Dr. Snipes is passionate about mental health and fitness. She is the proud author of the book, "Strong Body, Strong Mind: The Connection Between Fitness and Mental Health."
