To enhance the lives of those diagnosed with mental health disorders while providing support to family members that are directly affected by the disorder.
Our Staff
Dr. Shayla Snipes, LCSW is passionate about providing evidenced-based treatment in all areas of service. She is a graduate of Auburn University, The University of Alabama, and Clark Atlanta University. She has experience in foster care, child protective services, adult protective services, psychiatric hospital inpatient psychotherapy, school based therapy, and private practice.
Dr. Snipes has successfully assisted families with adoption home studies, adoption counseling, anger management evaluations, and family therapy. She has also provided safety training to social service case managers. Dr. Snipes is passionate about mental health and fitness. She is the proud author of the book, "Strong Body, Strong Mind: The Connection Between Fitness and Mental Health."
